Hey there! Just wanted to wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving. The kids and I are having a very lazy day here.

Mark’s watching football from the couch, Kate’s watching Chicken Little in my room, Frank’s watching some tv show in the breakfast room/den, Joey and Madelyn have created a fort on a bunkbed and are playing Nintendo DS together and I am playing with my computer and video camera, enjoying the moment.

I’m waiting on the turkey to finish cooking so I can make the rest of the side dishes and we’ll have a very small dinner together with hopefully many leftovers.

It’s moments like this that make me thankful for owning my own business and taking control of my family’s destiny a bit more. After all, I get to spend more time with them here and be here for the little ones after school instead of being stuck in an office. Yes, it’s going to be a very good 2010! I can feel it.
