Hey folks! I’m just enjoying the cooler weather here in Florida, but had some meetings and spent the first few weeks of the year in Southern Indiana and Nashville, TN. That was COLD!
Though my body was frozen, my mind was going a million miles a minute – and I can see a huge light at the end of the tunnel this year, as it seems like our economy is finally going to set itself back on track. People are all seeing hope, and investing in themselves and their companies. I know I am.
I’m going to be offering some consulting time blocks, so that I will be able to be “on call” for clients who need a little guidance.
For now, I’m enjoying the weather, working hard and enjoying my family. This is what life’s all about – doing what you love to do and supporting your family by doing it!

I’ve been working my little tail off getting my family all settled in our new home, but any spare moment has been spent researching some new additions to the product list and getting some new clients all set up for the new year. I am officially really, really excited!
As I get closer to celebrating Christmas with my family this week, I have the opportunity to do something that I haven’t been able to do for years. My kids are out of school for the holidays- and this year I don’t have to worry about where they’re going to be while I’m at work. I know exactly where they are… right in the house with me! In addition, I received a call from my sister this morning who needs a little help with her kids. So tomorrow, I’ll have 7 kids here with me. I’m not sure how much work I’ll be getting done tomorrow, but I’m excited to be able to help out my sister and to be in the position where I know I can.
On a business front… I am looking forward to having some new offerings and even… a new website structure in January. I can’t wait!

It’s been a very busy week for me, and I’ve been away from the keyboard way more than I normally am. After we got back from our trip to the Northeast, I had movers arrive the next day- and I’ve moved my household for the second time this year. I’ve been so busy trying to get everything in its place quickly that it’s taken nearly every ounce of energy I have had in the past week!
Thankfully, it’s just about DONE… and to top it off, I’ve even got our Christmas tree up. My daughter Kaitlyn was very concerned about our tree. As she put it, “How else will Santa know where to bring our gifts?”
So it’s up. My plan for this week is to finish editing the videos that I took while out of town and get them up for you to see. I got the chance to visit with some companies in Philadelphia, and I’m excited to share some coupon codes with you- as well as the videos!

Hey there! Just wanted to wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving. The kids and I are having a very lazy day here.
Mark’s watching football from the couch, Kate’s watching Chicken Little in my room, Frank’s watching some tv show in the breakfast room/den, Joey and Madelyn have created a fort on a bunkbed and are playing Nintendo DS together and I am playing with my computer and video camera, enjoying the moment.
I’m waiting on the turkey to finish cooking so I can make the rest of the side dishes and we’ll have a very small dinner together with hopefully many leftovers.
It’s moments like this that make me thankful for owning my own business and taking control of my family’s destiny a bit more. After all, I get to spend more time with them here and be here for the little ones after school instead of being stuck in an office. Yes, it’s going to be a very good 2010! I can feel it.
